These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the booking and purchase of detailing services (“Services”) from West Coast Detailing, operating from 37 Bruydegom Street, Saldanha, 7395. By booking a Service, you agree to these terms.

1. Booking and Appointment Policy

1.1 Service Confirmation: The date and time selected during the online booking process is a preference only. West Coast Detailing will contact the customer within [Insert Time, e.g., 2 hours] to confirm the appointment, or to propose an alternative time slot based on availability. 1.2 Cancellation and Rescheduling: Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Failure to do so may result in a non-refundable cancellation fee equivalent to 25% of the booked service price. 1.3 No-Show Policy: If the customer fails to present the vehicle at the scheduled time (in-house service) or is unavailable upon our arrival (mobile service), the cancellation fee (25% of the service price) will be charged. 1.4 Vehicle Condition Surcharge: All prices quoted are standard. A surcharge (as outlined on the Services page) will apply for vehicles with excessive mud, debris, pet hair, biohazards, or any condition that significantly increases the cleaning time beyond standard estimates. This surcharge will be assessed upon visual inspection and communicated to the customer before work begins.

2. Pricing and Mobile Services

2.1 Base Pricing: All prices displayed are for services performed in-house at 37 Bruydegom Street, Saldanha. 2.2 Mobile Service Fee: A flat fee of R150 applies for mobile services within the following areas: Saldanha, Vredenburg, Jacobs Bay, Langebaan, Hopefield, Velddrif, Dwarskersbos, and St Helena Bay. 2.3 Out-of-Area Surcharge: Mobile services requested outside of the designated areas listed in 2.2 will incur an additional travel surcharge of R2.50 per kilometre traveled, calculated from our Saldanha studio. This fee will be confirmed before the appointment.

3. Payment Terms

3.1 Payment Processing: All online payments are securely processed by our third-party payment processor, iKhoka. West Coast Detailing does not process, store, or have access to your full credit card information or banking details. 3.2 Payment Methods: We accept major credit/debit cards and other methods supported by iKhoka. 3.3 Final Payment: Final payment is due upon completion of the service, unless otherwise agreed for specialized services (e.g., Ceramic Coatings).

4. Limitation of Liability and Customer Responsibilities

4.1 Vehicle Condition Disclaimer: By booking a service, the customer confirms that the vehicle is in a safe and operable condition. 4.2 Damage Waiver: West Coast Detailing operates with extreme care. However, we are NOT liable for any pre-existing damage, or damage caused by manufacturing defects, poor previous repairs, or worn/aged components, including but not limited to: * Scratches, swirl marks, or chips existing prior to the service. * Loose parts, badly fitted trim, or broken seals. * Electrical issues resulting from water intrusion into non-factory sealed areas (e.g., aftermarket accessories). * Damage to engine components due to pre-existing leaks or corrosion during an engine bay clean. 4.3 Valuables: The customer is responsible for removing all personal belongings, money, and other valuables from the vehicle prior to the service. West Coast Detailing is not responsible for any lost or damaged items left inside the vehicle. 4.4 Guarantee: We guarantee our workmanship. If you are not satisfied with the result of the service, the customer must notify West Coast Detailing within 24 hours of completion to allow us the opportunity to correct the issue at no charge.

5. Amendments

West Coast Detailing reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The current version will always be published on the website.
