Paternoster’s tourist traffic isn’t constant through the year, and that matters for how you time
protection work. In the busy summer months and over long weekends, guesthouse and rental
vehicles are doing multiple transfers a day over gravel roads in full sun, which is the worst-case
scenario for both paint contamination and guest-facing presentation at the same time. Getting a
decontamination, correction, and ceramic coating done before the season starts means the vehicle
is defending itself against gravel and sun exposure throughout the busiest stretch, rather than
accumulating damage that only gets addressed once things quiet down again.
Outside of peak season, a lighter maintenance schedule, a wash every couple of weeks plus a
quick inspection of the lower panels for new chips, is usually enough to keep a well-coated vehicle
looking correct. If you’re managing a fleet across multiple properties or vehicles, staggering these
maintenance washes rather than doing them all at once also keeps at least some vehicles always
available for guest use.
